API 674 High-Pressure Reciprocating Pumps

Our commitment to quality extends to our line of Reciprocating API 674 pumps, designed to meet the demanding needs of the industries. The API 674 standard is recognized globally for setting stringent criteria for reciprocating pumps used in continuous-duty applications such as petroleum, petrochemical, and natural gas processing. These pumps are meticulously engineered and manufactured to comply with these rigorous standards.

The pumps are designed to be resilient and to have reliable performance even in the most unfavourable conditions. This is ensured by using 3D Modelling, Reliability, Fatigue and Pulsation Analysis.

Benefits of Goma’s API 674 Pump Packages:

  • Durable High Carbon Alloy Steel Crankshafts built for Continuous Duty Operations and High Loading Capacities.
  • High-Grade Cast Iron or SG Iron (for low temp. applications) crankcase with a top open design to ensure easy maintenance and assembly.
  • Fluid Chamber available in a wide range of materials ranging from Carbon Steel, SS 304, SS 316/316L, Duplex SS as well as Super Duplex SS.
  • Different types of valve assemblies available suited as per applications such as Plate/Ball/Wing types.
  • Stainless Steel or Carbon Steel plungers with various types of coatings such as Hard-Chrome, Tungsten Carbide, or Colomonoy coatings.
  • As per applications Rope type, PTFE Aramid type, and V-Ring type plunger packing options are available.

As per customer requirements, Goma’s API 674 pump skids come with electric motors (FLP/NFLP), diesel/gas engines, foot-mounted gearboxes (as per AGMA 6013 or API 677), suction/discharge dampeners (bladder type or maintenance-free), safety instruments such pressure safety valves (as per API 526), vibration, pressure and temperature transmitters, etc.

We, at Goma, ensure that every pump package dispatched from our factory goes through a series of rigorous tests as mentioned below:

  • Mechanical Run Test of Pump Power End
  • Liquid End Hydrostatic Pressure Tests
  • Performance Tests at Full Load
  • NPSH Tests
  • Stress and Fatigue Tests
  • Vibration Tests
  • Noise Test
  • Strip Test

Notes:

1) Each Pump series has a different plunger/piston size to accommodate desired parameters. Discharge volume indications are based on 100% volumetric efficiency with water.

2) Maximum flow rate is at maximum plunger diameter. Maximum pressure is at minimum plunger diameter.

3) The flow rate varies with changes in viscosity and temperature.

4) For API 674 Process Pumps only

T/TG-8000 is now T/TG-8K

T-20000 is now T-20K

T-40000 is now T- 40K

T-60000 is now T-60K

T-80000 is now T-80K

For Water Jetting & Hydro Testing Pumps, these model continue to remain the same as before.

5) The API 674 process pump models are available in Non API 674 specification as well. The final specification will be decided as per application.

6) The flow rate varies with changes in viscosity and temperature

With our key innovation, continual improvement, R&D, and customer-concentrated approach, we have positioned ourselves at the zenith of cutting-edge pump design, solutions, and prompt customer service.

Application

Our Pumps are built for continuous duty applications such as

  • Produced Water and Effluent Injection
  • Crude Oil Dispatch
  • Bowser Loading/Unloading
  • Condensate Transfer
  • Hot Oil Circulation
  • Slop Transfer
  • Wash Water Injection
  • Wax Transfer
  • Methanol and Glycol Injection
  • Polymer Injection
  • Mobile Pumping Units.

There are continuous duty process applications that are not bound by the API 674 standard. We also manufacture pumps for such applications as BOP Charging, Ammonia and Carbamate Transfer for Fertilizer Industry, Fueling Machine Supply and Boronated Water Applications for Nuclear Industry, etc.

Accessories

Each API 674 pump package is provided with a wide range of accessories such as Suction and Discharge Dampeners (Volume Bottle Type/Gas Charged Bladder Type/Mount free types Pressure Safety Valves(As per API 526), Gate Valves, Globe Valves, Check Valves, Vibration, Pressure & Temperature Transmitters, Instrumentation & Control Monitoring Panels, Strainers, etc.

Choosing the right pump for your application can be daunting, especially when you encounter terms like "API" and "non-API". We at Goma, design pumps as per API and Non-API standards which are used for many applications.  To know more click below to connect with us.

We have a wide range of API 674 pumps power frame sizes, each with multiple plunger sizes to accommodate different pressure and flow rates.
