The Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting the sales team in managing customer accounts, processing orders, and ensuring smooth communication between the sales department and other internal teams. This role involves handling customer inquiries, preparing quotes, assisting with sales presentations, tracking sales orders, and ensuring that deliveries meet customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Support:
Assist the sales team in day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth communication and coordination between the sales department and other departments (such as production, logistics, and customer service).
Prepare and manage sales quotations, proposals, and contracts.
Track and follow up on orders, ensuring timely deliveries and customer satisfaction.
Customer Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, handling requests for information, quotes, and updates on existing orders.
Maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are addressed promptly and professionally.
Assist with resolving customer complaints or issues related to orders, products, or deliveries.
Order Processing:
Process sales orders accurately, ensuring all information is correct before submitting them to production or shipping.
Coordinate with the production and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of machines and parts to customers.
Sales Tracking and Reporting:
Maintain and update customer and sales databases.
Track sales performance and assist in generating reports for the sales team and management.
Provide regular updates on sales targets, quotations, and order status.
Sales Documentation:
Prepare and maintain documentation related to sales transactions, including invoices, sales orders, and contracts.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures for sales documentation and customer interactions.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials, campaigns, and strategies to drive sales.
Work closely with the production team to ensure the availability of machinery and parts for order fulfillment.
Assist in organizing and participating in sales meetings, presentations, and trade shows.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience as a Sales Coordinator or in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Skills:
Experience with sales or order management software (e.g., SAP, Salesforce).
Knowledge of machine manufacturing processes and products.
