Triplex Plunger Pumps are a type of positive displacement pump known for their effectiveness in moving both thin liquids like water and thicker fluids like oil. The name "triplex" signifies the presence of three pistons or plungers within the pump, all operated by a single power source. 

How does it function? 
These pumps work by utilizing their three-plunger mechanism to ensure a smooth flow, generate consistent high pressure and reduce pressure fatigue on the pump's mechanical components.  

Usually, whenever reciprocating pumps are required triplex plunger pumps are commonly used. These are pow powered by electric motors or diesel engines and gas engines. utilizing the crankshaft and connecting rod assembly to convert rotary motion into the reciprocating motion required by the pistons or plungers. Triplex pump has 3 Plungers, and a quintuplex pump has 5. Various sizes of plunger pumps are available, such as simplex (1), duplex (2), and quadruplex (4).
