Hydro Testing Accessories

GOMA is a pioneer in handling hydro-testing jobs related to cross-country pipeline testing, pressure vessel, and plant hydro test requirements, we are offering an end-to-end solution for your hydraulic test job by providing a complete range of hydro testing accessories to the customer-specific requirements.

Pressure regulators maintain established system pressure in the discharge line and at the pump head. It allows the excess flow to be bypassed back to the inlet of the pump, to a tank, or to drain. The pressure regulator also keeps the system at constant. A wide range of pressure regulators is available including the several models of regulators.

The latest Pressure Regulating Valve (PRV) is used on Ultra High-Pressure pumps both diesel and electric pumping units to divert a portion of the flow to allow pressure outlet. It is really a hand-adjusted needle valve, and it can be used to control pressure when the application requires a flow at the low end of the pumping unit's operating range. For electric units, a PRV is required equipment, because the speed of the drive is not adjustable.

The latest design provides a simple field rebuild using a cartridge unit, downtime is two minutes or less. Easy hand adjustment without the need for wrenches, this includes the locking of the adjuster handle, after the pressure is set, all components machined from stainless steel, Direct mounting to fluid end discharge manifold.

A safety valve is a valve mechanism that automatically releases a fluid from a pump chamber, when the pressure exceeds pre-set limits. A Relief Valve is a secondary pressure regulating device used to back up the primary regulating device. If the primary regulating device fails to bypass at a set system pressure, the relief valve will open and allow liquid to flow freely. A relief valve can save costly pump and system damage, and more importantly, it’s an added safety feature to protect those working around the equipment.

For Ultra High Pressures more than 10000 psi it is advisable to use Rupture Disc instead of a mechanical safety valve to have an adequate result.

GOMA provides a complete range of glycerine-filled pressure gauges specially designed for high-pressure applications. Glycerine absorbs the vibration and pressure spikes. The dampening action of the glycerine enables the operator to take a reading during conditions of rapid dynamic loading and vibration. The liquid lubricates all moving elements, dramatically reducing wear in the movement. Because most liquid-filled gauges are filled with non-aqueous liquid and hermetically sealed, they perform in corrosive environments and are immune to moisture penetration and icing. These gauges are easy to read, face sizes from 2-1/2" to 6" and pressures up to 60000 psi

Digital Pressure Transmitter:
Goma Provides a digital pressure transmitter along with an LED display, a high & low-pressure cut-off system with overload protection, and high long-term stability due to a ceramic measure. Cell, measuring range up to 600 bar., this can be hooked up with a PLC system for auto-monitoring system, Transmitters or sensors with integrated control monitor, Optional fittings for variable process connection. EPS interface for external programming.

Pressure Snubber:
Pressure snubber will protect pressure gauges from the harmful effects of vibrations generated in a pressurized system. The pressure snubber works by stabilizing the rate at which the fluid or gas arrives. While the snubber does not alter the pressure of the process, it will reduce the pulsation on the line, thereby improving the consistency of the gauge reading, and extending the effective lifetime of that particular gauge.

High-Pressure hoses for hydro testing applications are spiraled steel reinforced polymer that has ultra-high working pressure with maintained flexibility. Its low volumetric expansion gives fast response time in hydraulic systems while smooth inner bored provides a minimized pressure drop. The small outside diameter makes the hose ideal for tight routing. Each assembled kit is cut to your preferred length, fitted with one of our wide range of fittings and high-pressure couplings.

Non-return valve plays a crucial role in a Hydrostatic (HYDRO) test is a type of pressure test in which process components such as pipelines, piping, pressure vessels, and fuel tanks can be tested for their strength and leaks. The procedure involves filling the test system with a liquid (Water) and pressurizing it to a specified test pressure.

A non-return valve allows a medium to flow in only one direction and is fitted to ensure that the medium flows through a pipe in the right direction, where pressure conditions may otherwise cause reversed flow, Non return valve will restrict that flow to go back when the high-pressure pump is not working.

A needle valve (Isolation Valve) is a type of valve which can be used to regulate the flow of water, in a Hydro testing system, The unique feature of the value is the inclusion of a small plunger, with a shape akin to a needle, this is often used as isolation valve if we need to regulate pressure in by-pass mode.

Chart Recorders are the industry standard for accurate, reliable measurement and recording of pressure and temperature or a combination of those (up to 3 pens).

Chart recorder range comprises:
• 6” chart (stainless steel)
• 9" chart (stainless steel or Pelicase) – ATEX certified
• 12” chart (stainless steel or Pelicase)

They are widely used in hydrostatic test applications in cross-country pipeline testing for accurate calibration and recording. This modular system feature offers the opportunity to enable customers to have every range

An accurate measuring technology, Goma’s digital stroke counter is designed specifically to measure the stroke rate and the number of strokes on hydro test pumps. Digital stroke counters are being used to check the pump stroke's cumulative measurement and calculate the total charged volume with the help of the same.
