A pressure switch is a form of switch that makes electrical contact when a certain set pressure has been reached on its input. This is used to provide on/off switching from a hydraulic source. The switch may be designed to make contact either on pressure rise or on pressure fall.
The easy handling via two radial setting rings on the sensor enables quick and precise setting of the switch points for the users, also without system temperature being applied. Due to the possible mechanical locking inadvertent manipulation is excluded. The protective cap, which can be obtained as an option, ensures protection against tampering.
The electronic type vibration monitor monitors online the overall vibration condition of pumps according to DIN ISO 10816. The sensor measures the rms vibration velocity on a non-rotating component surface. When an adjustable limit value is exceeded the unit sets to alarm via a switching contact. In addition the characteristic value is provided as current signal (4…20 mA) for connection to the process control system. Now available as a variant with a measuring range of up to 50 mm/s.
