How does a Sanitary Pump works?
A centrifugal pump basically consists of a wheel carrying vanes, called Impeller which revolves in an outer enclosure called Casing. Liquid enters the pump at its centre, technically known as the Eye, and discharges tangentially. The pressure head developed by sanitary pump is entirely due to the angular velocity imparted by the impeller, which is subsequently transformed into the head by the specific construction of the casing.
